CADI grinding ball

CADI is to add some carbide forming elements on the basis of the composition of austempered ductile iron (ADI), so as to form certain carbides in the structure of ADI. Its abrasion resistance is higher than that of ordinary ADI, reaching the performance of high alloy abrasion resistant cast iron, and its plastic toughness is better than that of high alloy abrasion resistant cast iron.

CADI grinding balls can be widely used in mining, power cement production and other industries. Its main features are:

(1) High hardness and toughness, with work hardening characteristics, and the depth of hardened layer is about 2mm;

(2) In the application of actual working conditions, the wear is about 1/2 of that of other grinding balls, that is, the service life is increased by more than one time;

(3) The overall uniformity of the grinding ball is good, and the crushing rate and out of roundness rate are extremely low in practical application;

(4) Due to the characteristics of the grinding ball, such as no breakage, no loss of roundness and low specific gravity, the starting and operating power of the ball mill can reduce the power consumption of the whole system by about 10%;

(5) The operating power is reduced, the wear of equipment is also reduced, the service life is extended, and the maintenance cost is reduced.

Use effect of grinding ball after 2 months of operation

The average ball consumption of CADI grinding ball is 327g, and the average ball consumption of other manufacturers' hot balls is 786g/t, and the unit consumption of grinding ball is reduced by 58.4%. CADI grinding ball shows a perfect combination of hardness and toughness. During use, it is hard to work, with low wear rate, low crushing rate and no loss of roundness.
